On Thursday the Legislative leadership continued to show strong commitment to finish their work promptly. They designated spending targets and announced a schedule. Next week June 14-17 sub committee will meet and report. June 21-25 conferees will finalize decisions. June 29 adopt conference reports.
In establishing the spending targets they simply took the difference in Senate and House budgets and went to the middle and that is the spending target. For education that target is $10,768,361,626.00.
