Hi Everybody!

The upcoming short session has adopted a very optimistic calendar. Can they keep it? I don't know! The highlights are:

• April 13- 15............................................Joint Sub committees will meet
• April 19 - 23rd.......................................They will continue tomeet and begin to report
• April 20..................................................Governor presents her budget
• May 5 -7, 10 - 13...................................Senate Subcommittees meet and begin reporting
• May 20.................................................. Senate adopts its budget.
• May 24 - 28, and May 31, June 1 - 3....House subcommittees meet and begin reporting.
• June .......................................................House adopts its budget
• June 11...................................................Conferees appointed.
• June 15 - 18........................................... Conferees meet to resolve differences.
• June 29 ................................................. Adopt the conference report
