What is NCDTSEA?
The
North Carolina Driver and Traffic Safety Education Association (NCDTSEA) is a
state association of instructors of driver education. It is made up of
representatives from both the public and private sector.
The
Purposes of this organization shall be:

Endeavor to achieve its purposes through the rational use of such materials,
conferences, programs, and other activities as deemed essential and appropriate.
Is an
affiliate member of the American Driver and Traffic Safety Education Association
(ADTSEA)
What does NCDTSEA do?

NCDTSEA serves as a liaison between the North
Carolina Legislature and driver education teachers throughout the state.

NCDTSEA serves as a liaison between the NC
Department of Public Instruction and the state's driver education teachers.

NCDTSEA employs a legislative consultant who
works closely with the NC Legislature to ensure continues full funding of
the Driver Education Program.

NCDTSEA members also become a member of one of
six regional associations around the state. Each region normally meets
one or two times annually to discuss concerns of their area.
NCDTSEA conducts an annual
state conference. The Board of Directors selects a site annually from
various localities around the state. The annual conference brings
together state as well as national leaders in driver education and traffic
safety. At the conference exhibitors display materials and products
related to driver and traffic safety.
